Custom newborn photography is like no other type of photography. It is very special and requires an investment of trust in the person that will be working with your precious new baby. Your photos will be cherished memories forever and heirlooms to future generations. The actual session is only the beginning of creating these precious memories.

After your session, I will spend an extensive amount of time selecting and editing the best images for you. Careful consideration has been given to price so I am able to offer each and every client the very best customer service, creativity for your session and, most importantly, a great experience.

To best capture those fleeting moments of a brand new life, bare skin is preferred with newborns. I have lots and lots of hats, headbands, wraps and blankets for your session. New props arrive daily so you really don’t need to bring anything. We base the colors that we use for your session on your preferences and your nursery decor. Each newborn session that I capture is unique ~ no two are ever alike.

Newborn sessions are scheduled within the first 7-10 days of life. Scheduling during your pregnancy is preferred as my schedule fills months in advance. He’s moved on to greener pastures of the heavenly kind.

I cannot even find the words through all the tears. My heart is officially shattered. I’ve lost pets before but this one has stung the worst and he isn’t even mine…..he’s my sister’s gloriously gorgeous Friesian Zorro. They were so beautiful together – what a sweet partnership. He loved her so much and she him….a true mutual worship. They truly were lucky to have each other.

I am so happy we planned these photos and were able to sneak in this session before the field was cut down the next morning. Zorro loved to pose (treats were my secret weapon). And of course he took advantage of every minute with her and even managed to get in some snuggle time. No surprise, he was just a love – a ginormous puppy dog.

Here are my sister’s beautiful words….”I was contemplating whether or not to post my devastating news on social media, but I feel I would be remiss to not honor my beautiful boy Zorro as he touched so many people. Zorro unexpectedly journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge last Wednesday evening. I was so fortunate to have this kind intelligent soul in my life for the last 7 years and will forever be grateful for his companionship and love. When I decided to venture into the world of horse ownership I never imagined such an amazing journey with such a beautiful partner. He was more than a horse to me and I never expected that a large powerful being could display such affection and kindness in his heart. Zorro and I had a bond that will last a lifetime. I will miss him everyday for the rest of my life. Today he would have turned 17. Until we meet again my Handsome Boy…”

Zorro, I truly will miss you examining all my pockets for your favorite treats (peppermints and bananas), kissing that velvet nose, and that BIG huge Trot (yes, sometimes I needed that “oh-shit” strap). Thank you for loving Lila and being so gentle with her. You gave her the horse “bug”. Everyone who met you fell in love with you.

Au revoir my handsome nephew. You were so loved. You will truly be missed. XOXO

A lesson I learned a while back….

Life is far too short. Focus on those you love. Leave the meaningless and the unworthy behind.

Newborn sessions take place in my studio in Cranford, NJ. The newborn fee includes the photographer’s time and talent to capture 30-35 final images and The Petal Collection ~ all your digital images on usb drive. You may upgrade your package or add additional products.

Newborn sessions are scheduled within the first 7-10 days of life. Scheduling during your pregnancy is preferred as my schedule fills months in advance. If baby has already arrived, please inquire regarding session availability. It is VERY important to ensure the ideal timeframe.
