Evan’s Cookie Monster 1st Birthday Cake Smash

Happy National Cookie Day! Check out Evan’s Cookie Monster 1st Birthday Cake Smash! This sweet birthday boy is a huge Cookie Monster fan, so he got to smash cake AND cookies. Look at those eyes — just as blue as the backdrop and focused on chowing down. He was hilarious, splitting his efforts evenly between the chewy chocolate chip cookies and the moist vanilla cake decorated with a perfect fondant Cookie Monster face by the talented Kimmy of Kimmy’s Cakes.

I had so much fun arranging the stacks of cookies, filling the old-fashioned milk bottles and topping them off with straws that coordinated with Evan’s outfit. His blue-and-white chevron hat came off once he really got down to business, but who can blame him? He even offered to share with me — what a doll! Who’s getting hungry for cookies?!

Happy Thanksgiving, and happy birthday to this little turkey! Kimmy of Kimmy’s Cakes made this adorably silly and delicious cake, the fondant feathers and eyes of which were quite interesting to our curious smasher. How awesome is it that the feathers on the cake perfectly match the feathers on the back of his onesie?

This handsome little model’s mama picked the BEST outfits for him: his crocheted turkey hat, his deer vest, his newboy hats and bowties … and the off-white hoodie sweater romper number just slays me. The shot of him clapping his hands in that gives me heart eyes. I could just gobble him up like he did his cake!

The NEW Princess Sessions – September 16th

The New Princess Sessions September 16th. Let’s. Play. Princess. Every little girl needs to be a real princess at least once. This session is all about her. And, it needs to be captured in beautiful fine art images. You’ll want to highlight these on your walls at home! These sessions areNOT about looking like a Disney Princess. These sessions are about your little girl looking like her very own princess in an outfit that is all about her personality. Let’s capture the true spirit of your sweet girl.

Pick one of the gorgeous Tutu du Monde dresses in the studio (we’ll work together to get the right one for your princess) or bring one of your own. We’ll apply light make-up, you will need to arrive at the studio with your little’s hair ready to go. We’ll be using two backdrops for each session – one of our NEW gorgeous hand-painted backgrounds from Heidi Hope and our lush gorgeous gray drop – your little will shine! Ask for our style sheet to help you select what is best for you.

These sessions are PERFECT to capture birthdays (or your birthday year), special occasions and/or celebrations.

The Princess Session fee is $450 plus tax. This includes the use of studio dresses. You’ll receive 12 fine art digital images, carefully selected and edited sent via digital transfer.

Price is per child. For ages 3 and over. Sessions are 45 minutes.

2017 Fall Family Sessions

It’s all about FAMILY.

I know, school isn’t even out for summer, right? But, I thought you would like to know that my fall weekends are limited and they are already filling up! Going, going…and almost gone! This fall, I have VERY LIMITED weekends available and have a handful of weekend dates remaining. So, if a Family Session is on your list of to-do’s for fall, please reserve your spot now.

WEEKDAY SESSIONS are my favorite – area parks are free of crowds! All sessions take place 2 hours prior to sunset so there is plenty of time after school for sessions. My best advise is to book your weekday or weekend session now for September and October when the weather is warmer. Kids always do better.

Need recommendations for location? I have many new locations this season. And, if you have an idea or theme in mind, I love making visions happen.

My family session includes the photographer’s time and talent to capture 40 final images as well as The Petal Collection ~ all your hi-res digital images on usb drive. You may upgrade your package or add additional products such as prints, albums and gallery wrapped canvas.

Outdoor sessions are only rescheduled due to rain so please keep time of year and temperatures in mind when scheduling your date (please be flexible ~ rain dates are generally scheduled within 2 weeks and usually need to be scheduled on a weeknight).

Child and Family Beach Sessions on the Jersey Shore

A beautiful Jersey Shore sunset, my little and a dreamy Anna Triant gown. It doesn’t get any better than this for me!

I am the first to admit it. As a photographer, I get lost in my client photography and forget about my own family photos. Selfishly, this session was all for me and I am not apologizing for it. I will cherish these moments with my daughter forever. I’ve been neglecting capturing my own family photos and realized I needed to stop and smell the ocean. These captures are for my girl just as much as they are for me. She won’t appreciate it now at the age of 9, but I know as she grows and matures and perhaps has children of her own, she will. I may sound like a broken record, but this is what I stress to families and why Moms and Dads should be taking pictures with their kids. MEMORIES.
