Jacqueline Belle Fleur Photography is the work of Jacqueline Gedonius. She is a NJ based photographer specializing in newborns, children, maternity and families. She photographs on location throughout the state and in her studio in Cranford.
It’s officially spring and time for Communion Photos. This is a special milestone so let’s capture it like one. Communion sessions take place at a gorgeous park or even your church. Tulips, cherry blossoms, daffodils. The blooms are so pretty this time of year and they make the perfect setting. Each session is customized for your child.

Because of the later spring sunset, capturing on weeknights is easy and the parks are more quiet. Sessions generally last 45 minutes. Feel free to reserve a session back to back with a friend, and your children may even have pictures together.
I have a list of area parks throughout New Jersey that are perfect for these special Communion Photos. Some parks do require permits and those fees are not included in my fees. But, I am happy to reserve the time with the parks. Once you book your session date, I am happy to discuss all the location possibilities.
Your final gallery will include 12 hi-res digital images. I will provide you with a online gallery and a link for download.
I am thrilled to introduce NEW Sports Photo Sessions! These sessions are for individual athletes, teams, and high school seniors.
Athletes spend so much time committed to their sport. So, they deserve to walk away from their high school years with awesome, professional photos that truly capture their dedication. These sessions are a level above and beyond the traditional school and club pictures. You won’t find any fake backdrop or green screen with these sessions! It’s all real, and captured on location where athletes play and perform.

Sports Photos – Details
Where?
All sessions take place on your home turf. Basketball, Volleyball, Cheer – sessions take place in your home gym. Football, Baseball, Softball, LaCrosse – sessions take place on your home field. Ice Hockey – sessions take place on your home rink. Athletes and coaches seek approval from the school administration for session dates and locations on school grounds.
When?
Mid-January through mid-November. I strongly encourage booking early (three to six months in advance).
Rates
Special Launch rates are available for sessions reserved now through April 30th for all sessions through November 30. Email me at jacqueline@jacquelinebellefleur.com for details.
Reservations – If you are ready to book your session or have further questions, simply send an email to jacqueline@jacquelinebellefleur.com or call me at 917-750-0188. Once a session date is mutually agreed upon, a retainer is due upon booking to reserve the session date (cash, check, paypal, mc or visa – I have a web-based link available for payment). Session dates will not be guaranteed without a retainer (sorry, no exceptions). The remainder of the session balance is due 48 hours prior to the session date.
Dance Photography and Seniors – what a great combination. Here are another set of amazing Senior Dance Majors from UCVTS – Academy for Performing Arts. Spring is coming and once again I’ll be capturing the Dance Seniors as well as the Theatre Department Seniors at UCVTS. Cannot wait. These students are SO TALENTED!

I capture seniors all over New Jersey. This state is gorgeous and perfectly diverse. Locations range from formal parks to informal bohemian fields and barns, to beaches, and cool urban locations including cities, factories, and even beach communities. Some clients like more casual sessions and some like more formal. It’s completely up to you and your senior. What fits his/her personality best? If you don’t have any ideas in mind, we work together to find the best location for you. Some of the more formal parks are now requiring photography permits – so please inquire. Permits are not included in my fees but I am happy to secure them with the facilities.
When?
All year. I capture sessions on location from January-November (shooting in the snow is absolutely magical!). Outdoor sessions are only rescheduled due to rain. Please be flexible ~ rain dates are scheduled within 2 weeks and are almost always scheduled on a weeknight. During the spring and fall, my schedule fills very quickly. Most of my sessions take place on weeknights – when most of those beautiful locations are quiet – and a few weekends. Sessions are held 2 hours prior to sunset. Please inquire for avails.
Style
Seniors have a very distinct individual style. It’s important to select the right clothing for the session in order to capture each senior’s true personality. Some clothing and colors capture better than others. I offer a consultation with each senior and parent(s) prior to the session to review and recomend the best clothing choices.

I had a little Asbury Park fun with these two cuties! Nothing like capturing a real moment in time. Grab your favorite concert tee (so in right now – Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande), jeans (distressed, of course), Doc Martens, and sequin bomber jacket and head off for Asbury Park. The perfect location for a little “ROCK” photo shoot with your sister!
Just a little humble advise from this photographer….not every family session needs to be just for the holidays. These adorable photos are front and center on this family’s holiday card and I must admit, it was one of my favorite holiday cards this season. Mix up your family photos every year – capture at different times of the seasons and wear non-holiday themed clothing. You’ll have a gorgeous collection of family photos and memories.

I wish I could stress how much I encourage and love family sessions. How many of you have photos with your lovely littles? I honestly don’t have enough. Why? I am always the one taking them (as are most moms).
When I look back at family photos from my childhood, I have two images with my parents and siblings together. Just two! I’m betting that I am not alone. I encourage you to think of family images in a different way and with an additional purpose. We love to post pics of our children all over social media, we all do it. One day, when your children are young adults and become parents, they will ask for images of their childhood with YOU. They will be making memories with their kids while re-living theirs. So let’s not make the same mistake as past generations and let’s celebrate the family in photos, the ENTIRE family, and capture the moments that will be cherished when your children are old enough to truly appreciate it.
There is nothing greater than a capture of a loving family laughing and smiling together.

September is the most overlooked month of the year! The gardens are at peak and the weather is beautiful. Weekday sessions are held just prior to sunset making after school sessions completely doable. Most of the locations are much more quiet on weekdays too.
