Jacqueline Belle Fleur Photography is the work of Jacqueline Gedonius. She is a NJ based photographer specializing in newborns, children, maternity and families. She photographs on location throughout the state and in her studio in Cranford.

Newborn Photography — Teddy With His Teddy

Meet Teddy, shown first in one of my favorite newborn photography poses (which are always done safely and with the help of photo editing software), frog pose. I love the wrinkle at the bridge of his nose, the pucker in his bottom lip, and the way his toes separate!

And of course, when a baby named Teddy comes into my studio, you know I have to photograph him with a tiny fuzzy bear — swoon!

This sleepy little guy was wonderful to work with. I love that we were able to capture a “smile,” along with lots of squishy cheeks and back rolls. His perfectly parted hair makes him look so distinguished for someone just a few days old. Welcome to the world, Teddy!

It’s so important to have a highly trained newborn photographer so that your baby not only looks precious, but is also safe and sound. For me, it’s all about posing, which takes skill and patience. Each newborn session that I capture in my Cranford, NJ, studio is unique — no two are ever alike. I promise you the very best quality, creativity, and an overall great experience. My newborn fee includes:

  • the session fee (time and talent to capture, carefully select and fully edit 30-35 final images)
  • the base digital package — The Petal Collection (all hi-res digital files on a USB drive)
  • carefully and personally selected props
  • photos with parents and siblings
  • package upgrades and additional products also available

It’s best to capture newborns within the first 7 to 10 days of life. Once that small window of time is gone, you will never have the chance to capture it again. For more examples of my custom newborn photography, check out the gallery here. World Kissing Day — July 6

Mwah! Happy World Kissing Day! As a family photographer, I’m fortunate to capture lots of kisses — between couples, parents and their little ones, and siblings like these two adorable sisters. This is one of my favorites despite the fact (or maybe because of the fact) that it’s more of a miss than a kiss. Look at the positions of their little hands!

Even if a kiss doesn’t always land exactly it’s meant to, it’s always full of love. I enjoyed a beautiful summer evening in the garden with these cuties. I hope you’re all having a good evening with your loved ones this Kissing Day!

Baby Girl Ava Sitter Session

This sitter session with sweet baby girl Ava was one of the best ever. You can probably tell since I shared two sneak peeks (here and here). What a happy baby — she was such a joy to capture!

I could never pick just one favorite image from this session. She looked absolutely precious in all the outfits, in front of all the backgrounds, with all the props. I love that little puff of hair that stands up behind her hair accessories. And then how cute is her bald spot in the back, in the shot from behind? The dimple that forms when she grins and sticks her tiny tongue out is just priceless. She had a ball playing with the fake flowers, and of course her own chubby hands and feet. I don’t know how her family doesn’t just eat her up!

Schedule your baby’s sitter session with Jacqueline Belle Fleur!

Sitter sessions are for babies between the ages of 6 and 9 months, or when they are sitting up on their own but not walking. I recommend waiting until baby is sitting up so you maximize your session and have the greatest selection of poses in your gallery. Session details:

  • about an hour long (little ones that age generally don’t last any longer)
  • choice of two backdrops
  • wardrobe assistance — I have a select number of beautiful handmade dresses and rompers for girls, and one super cute knit romper for boys. You may provide your own outfits as well (we will work together on clothing choices). For boys, I recommend little jeans (nude on top is adorable!) and outfits with bow ties and hats.
  • final gallery of 15 beautifully edited hi-res images sent via digital transfer within 2 weeks of the session
  • $425 plus tax ($200 plus tax deposit to hold your session, and balance of $225 plus tax due the day of)

The Sprout Collection

Capture your little one’s milestones throughout his or her first year — tummy time, sitting, crawling, standing and maybe even walking (look out!). The collection includes:

  • three 30-minute sessions around 4 months (studio), 7 months (outdoor or studio) and 12 months (outdoor or studio)
  • 15-20 color images for the 4 month session; 25-30 images for the 7 month session; 30-35 images for the 12 month session
  • 12 month session includes a cake for a cake smash in the studio if you would like to celebrate the 1st birthday
  • $1470 plus tax for all three sessions ($370 plus tax deposit to reserve dates, and $370 plus tax due at each session)

Pink Day — June 23

It’s Pink Day, so let’s celebrate with this Pretty in Pink collection! I work with the color pink a lot, not just because it’s traditionally for girls, but also because of how gorgeous it photographs. Pink clothing, backgrounds and props help to bring out the rosiness in skin tones, and give photos such a sweetness.

Here are some of my all-time favorite images featuring mamas and little ladies in pink. I also love the color for family sessions with girls — especially when Daddy is wearing it too. Embrace the softer side with PINK!

Red Rose Day — June 12th

Today is Red Rose Day! There’s nothing like a luxurious silk Anna Triant dress and a giant red rose to celebrate. I took these shots of my own sweet girl on a gorgeous fall evening at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. I especially love the regal feel that this location has. The red pops so nicely against all the neutral stone. We had fun throwing rose petals into the air, adding a little whimsy to some of the captures.

Red roses aren’t just for your true love on Valentine’s Day — they can be for your little loves any time of year. Sometimes I even use them for newborn photography. Here is some love from my family to yours on this Red Rose Day!
