Capturing Life! Well, you may call this an outtake, but I call it LIFE. Life with kids. And, theses captures become total GEMS to include in your family albums. It’s REAL LIFE. Kids will be kids and capturing their true spirit is what it is all about!

During Family Sessions, I focus on capturing the full family, siblings, each parent with each child, moms with the kids, dad with the kids, individual photos of the kids, mom and dad together, and finally some silly, fun photos of the family laughing and having fun.

And of course, the family ALL smiling at the camera….and a beautiful silhouette. All wall and photo album worthy!

I wish I could stress how much I encourage and love family sessions. How many of you have photos with your lovely littles? I honestly don’t have enough. Why? I am always the one taking them (as are most moms).

When I look back at family photos from my childhood, I have two images with my parents and siblings together. Just two! I’m betting that I am not alone. I encourage you to think of family images in a different way and with an additional purpose. We love to post pics of our children all over social media, we all do it. One day, when your children are young adults and become parents, they will ask for images of their childhood with YOU. They will be making memories with their kids while re-living theirs. So let’s not make the same mistake as past generations and let’s celebrate the family in photos, the ENTIRE family, and capture the moments that will be cherished when your children are old enough to truly appreciate it.

Finding the right clothing is the hardest part of a photography session. Find one inspiration piece and build outfits from it. My favorite clothing brand is Joyfolie for women and girls.

Newborn Baby Butterfly. I love capturing newborns and creating art. Having this stunning piece just completes the nursery. I strive to provide every client with a special composite piece that matches their requested color and the baby’s nursery. Nothing like having a little masterpiece of your new little masterpiece!

Custom newborn photography is like no other type of photography. It is very special and requires an investment of trust in the person that will be working with your precious new baby. Your photos will be cherished memories forever and heirlooms to future generations.

Why Jacqueline?

Value and quality are two of the most important things to me and my photography business. I’ve been honing my craft and capturing newborns for over 11 years. I take great pride and care in capturing and creating babies as art. My goal is to provide each client with a beautiful gallery that will become worthy of premium gallery wrapped canvases for walls and beautiful coffee table books that will adorn living space for years to come. These captures will become the gifts the grandparents are waiting for. That’s why I provide a substantial gallery of 25 images. Clients receive 8-10 poses with 2 backdrops as well as buckets and baskets, parent photos, and a special composite fine art piece selected just for baby.

The actual session is only the beginning of creating precious memories. After your session I will spend an extensive amount of time selecting and editing the best images for you.

Session Details

Newborn sessions take place in my studio in Cranford, NJ. Sessions are scheduled within the first 7-10 days of life. Scheduling during your pregnancy is preferred as my schedule fills months in advance. Babies rarely arrive on their due date, so once baby arrives, we adjust your session date should we need to. If baby has already arrived, please inquire regarding session availability. It is VERY important to ensure the ideal timeframe. During the 7-10 day window the baby will be super sleepy making the session more successful.

Reservations

If you are ready to book your newborn session or have further questions, simply send an email to jacqueline@jacquelinebellefleur.com or contact me at 917-750-0188. Once a session date is mutually agreed upon, a retainer of $200 plus tax is due upon booking to reserve your date. A payment link will be provided. I am willing to hold your scheduled date for 24 hours, but your date will not be guaranteed until your retainer is paid. The remainder of the fee ($1050 plus tax) is due on the day of your session.

NYC Family Sessions offer something a little extra special.

A historic street in the incredibly photographic New York City, a vintage checker cab, and a loving family all combined into one. So COOL, so FUN, so PERFECT! Sometimes you just have to cross the river. NYC Family Sessions are so worth the trip from NJ. There are so many different kinds of exciting and photo worthy locations for Family Sessions. This happens to be one of my favorites. What an experience. Don’t you want to sit in the driver’s seat? Lady Gaga even rode in this gorgeous piece of history. The list of celebrities who have been in this cab is endless.

I specialize in modern portraiture for newborns, maternity, family and children (including babies, communion, cake smashes, and high school seniors). I capture sessions throughout New Jersey, NYC or in my studio in Cranford, NJ. Studio Sessions are for newborns, babies, small children, and fine art portraiture for older children/teens. Spring Bunny Sessions are here! Spring is on the way and that means TULIPS and BUNNIES, BUNNIES, and BUNNIES. I’m so excited for the bunnies this year. CUTEST SESSIONS EVER. Nothing is better than adorable kids, little bunny snuggles, and bunny kisses.

THESE SESSIONS SELL OUT IN MINUTES! Due to the pandemic, I have VERY limited spaces available. Please reserve your sessions early.

I have 2 DAYS ONLY available for sessions, Saturday, March 27th & Sunday, March 28th.

Reservations

Please contact me at jacqueline@jacquelinebellefleur.com to reserve your date and time for your session. Once your time is secured, I will send you a link for payment. The full session fee must be submitted within 2 hours of reservation or the time slot will be reopened to another client – no exceptions. Because these sessions sell out so quickly, I am unable to hold sessions without payment. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Easter Sessions are perfect for children for ages 6 months (sitters) to 10 years old. Sorry, no shared sessions – sibling only per session. No exchanges, no refunds. The bunnies are only here from the farm for two days so I cannot reschedule sessions after the scheduled dates.

The Easter Sessions are held in my studio in Cranford, NJ.

The 2021 set is all about pastels. It’s a hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind set made by me. A sneak peek of the set is coming in early March. The adorable captures below are from the 2019 Spring Easter Bunny Sessions. THE SET IS NEW AND ORIGINAL EVERY YEAR.

For clothing, soft pastel colors are recommended – peaches, pinks, purples, yellows, mint, baby blue. Please avoid bold colors, dark colors (black and navy blue) and neon and/or bright colors.

PLEASE NOTE: We are animal SAFE! Children under a certain age will sit next to the bunnies, not hold them. If you have questions, please inquire. Bunny holding is at our discretion. Please respect our process and our safety for all.

Family is LOVE! Now let’s capture it!

It’s never too early to start planning your Family Sessions. Spring, Summer and Fall are the most popular months and dates fill up quickly.

I know COVID threw a wrench into family travel plans…time we need to unwind and spend quality time with each other. But the one important thing COVID reminded us of is that family is LOVE every day of the year. We don’t have to wait for vacation or the weekends. The little things have become so much more important. Our priorities have been realigned and that’s a good thing.

Now, take time to capture that family love, plan your first family photography session. Capture the love and showcase it by making a beautiful coffee table book for you and your children to look at over and over. It’s quite frankly one of the best gifts you can leave them some day – captures of their mom and dad cuddling and having fun with them. Powerful memories.
