Today is Red Rose Day! There’s nothing like a luxurious silk Anna Triant dress and a giant red rose to celebrate. I took these shots of my own sweet girl on a gorgeous fall evening at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. I especially love the regal feel that this location has. The red pops so nicely against all the neutral stone. We had fun throwing rose petals into the air, adding a little whimsy to some of the captures.
Red roses aren’t just for your true love on Valentine’s Day — they can be for your little loves any time of year. Sometimes I even use them for newborn photography. Here is some love from my family to yours on this Red Rose Day!

It’s fun doing themed sessions in different outdoor locations throughout New Jersey and New York City. Weeknights about two hours prior to sunset are best. My child and family session fee includes the following:
- time and talent to capture, carefully select and fully edit 40 final images
- the base digital package — The Petal Collection (all hi-res digital files on a USB drive)
