Mommy & Me Sessions in the Cherry Blossoms

I hope all you mamas had a happy Mother’s Day! This year’s Mommy & Me sessions in the cherry blossoms turned out amazing! It was a privilege to help this sweet family and others celebrate with memories captured. Many times moms aren’t in photos because they are the ones taking them. I’m glad I could help change that! The weather was beautiful, and the purply-pink flowering trees really brought out the rosiness of everyone’s skin.

It’s clear that both of these kiddos adore their mama, who looked gorgeous in her light yellow ruffled skirt. The kids loved running around in the grass and playing with the flowers, so we embraced it and got some great action shots in addition to posed ones. The series of mom and her little boy with the evening sun shining down on them are my favorites — I can’t pick just one! We also got some adorable portraits of the two siblings, as well as each of the children individually. I hope the family treasures all of these images forever.
