Mason’s Airplane Themed 1st Birthday Session

Handsome Mason recently flew into the studio for some airplane themed 1st birthday photos. (He didn’t do a cake smash, but this new theme can certainly be used for those!) Mason’s pilot hat and scarf were adorable as well as cozy, and he looked precious sitting on top of the brown vintage suitcase. The toy planes and clouds around him plus the painted ones in the backdrop really gave this shoot some nice dimension. Oh, the places you’ll go, Mason!

Look at that tongue! I can’t decide if I prefer the shots with his tongue sticking out, or the ones that show off his two little bottom teeth!

We brought out the distressed turquoise chair to mix it up a little and let him show off his standing. So big!

We got the scarf to fly — whee!

I just love little boys in overalls …

… or nothing at all! *heart eyes*

1st Birthday photo sessions take place in my Cranford, NJ studio, and include 40-50 fully final images. In addition to the airplane themed 1st birthday photos featured here, I’m also excited to offer the following other themes, many of which work well for both boys and girls: sailing, hot air balloons, carnival, unicorns, “Down on the Farm,” Bohemian flowers, Bohemian “Wild One” with arrows, “Where the Wild Things Are,” music, Cookie Monster, Mickey Mouse, lavender fields, carousel, Paris, ballerinas, blue stars, angel and clouds, and woodland animals. You can even just pick a color scheme, and we’ll roll with that!
